Throughout India there are many luxurious and eye catching hotels made for the comfort of visitors. But imagine a hotel of worth Rs. 1600 crore. Yes, a 5-Star Deluxe Hotel in Delhi built with an investment of Rs.1600 crore is going to be India’s most expensive 5-Star Deluxe hotel. This hotel is constructed in Chanakyapuri by Leela Groups and will be opened in October 1st, 2010.

Features of the India's Most Expensive 5-Star Hotel

1. The hotel is built on a 3-acre plot that was bought 2 years back in 2008 for about Rs.700 crore.

2. The hotel was completed in a span of 2 years with the construction cost of Rs. 900 crore making the total cost of the hotel equal to Rs.1600 crore.

3. The hotel consists of 260 rooms and suites in total. The expenditure on each room including construction and land is Rs.6 crore. This construction cost per room is very large as compared to average 5-Star Deluxe hotels which are generally built for Rs.75 lakhs to Rs. 1.8 crore.

4. The tariff of the hotel will obviously be high then other hotels almost by 10 to 15%. The tariff per night for a room in this hotel will range from ` 22,000 to ` 25,000.

5. This hotel now finds the top place among the most renowned hotels in India like Oberoi, Taj, Maurya and Hayatt.
