World’s highest research centre to be built in Ladakh’s Chang La Pass!

The altitude at which survival seems to be very difficult, now we will have a research centre there. Yes, friends in order to improve the performance of army cadets posted at high altitude regions of Himalaya, a security related research centre is soon going to be built in Ladakh region’s Chang-La Pass. This research centre will be world’s highest research centre.

Chang La Pass

This research centre will be situated at an altitude of about 17,000 feet above the sea level in Chang-la Pass in Ladakh. This research centre aims at finding out the solutions to the health related problems while living in higher altitude areas. Defence Institute of High Altitude Research (DIHAR) stated that this research centre is going to be the highest research centre working on Human physical science. Chang La pass at 17,000 feet has very cold winters with temperature going below -40 to -45 degrees. This research centre will be provided with all the facilities and scientists from all over the world will be involved in the research process
