If we talk of any industry having the highest competition in the Indian market, telecommunication industry is probably at the top. Every day companies are coming up with new mobile brands in the Indian market and if we talk of telecommunication services, they are giving a shoulder fight to each other. Airtel, BSNL, Reliance, TATA, Idea are few of the most popular mobile service providers in India. Launching various schemes and applications every now and then is the key feature of mobile service providers to attract more customers.

It was just a year back that Bhartiya Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) became the first mobile operator in India to launch the 3G services and that too in selected cities. 3G services provided people with video call facility, high speed internet and other interesting applications. Now, it is the time for the private operators to fight back and Tata DOCOMO and Vodafone have already announced the launch of their 3 G services in India. Tata DOCOMO became the first private operator in India to announce 3G services and will probably start the 3G service by first week of November, 2010. Vodafone will start its 3G services in the beginning of New Year, 2011.
