Indra Nooyi Ranks 6th among 100 Most Powerful Women in the World by Forbes!

America’s famous magazine, Forbes, not only has rich Indian men topping the list but also have Indian women ranking high. Recently, Forbes made a list of ‘100 Most Powerful Women in the World’ and there are three Indian women who have been included in this list. Indian women are also proving their mettle of leadership and business quality worldwide.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PepsiCo, Indra Nooyi, CEO of Axis Bank Shikha Sharma and CEO of ICICI Bank Chanda Kochar are the three Indian women included in the list of 100 most powerful women in the world. Wife of U.S. President Barack Obama, Michelle Obama tops the list while the Chennai born Indra Nooyi of India has been placed at 6th position among the 100 most powerful women in the world. Shikha Sharma, CEO of Axis Bank has got the 89th rank while Chanda Kochar, CEO of ICICI Bank has been placed at the 92nd position.

Indra Nooyi, Shikha Sharma and Chanda Kochar have not only become the inspiration for the women entrepreneurs in India but to all the women globally. Indra Nooyi has earlier also been ranked at many top positions in the list of powerful women by Forbes.
